Oasis Announce Reunion, 15 Years After Split

After months of swirling rumors and a week of hints dropped by the front-man, Oasis have made fans’ dreams come true by confirming their highly anticipated reunion tour. This comes a staggering 15 years after the unforgettable backstage confrontation between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.

Hailing from Manchester, Oasis are widely recognized as one of the most influential bands of the 90s, and are best known for tracks like ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, and ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’. Their split in 2009, following a heated argument in Paris, marked the end of an era, leaving fans yearning for a reconciliation that seemed unlikely.

However, all speculations have been put to rest, with the band making an announcement on social media, revealing plans for a series of 14 concerts spanning across the UK and Ireland.

In a statement, the band declared, ‘The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great war is over. Come see. It will not be televised.’

The tour schedule includes performances in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, and is anticipated to be Oasis’ sole European tour in 2025.

She mentioned to New York Magazine that she didn't expect the post to garner 55 million views and emphasized that it was intended to be a lighthearted joke.
