Kendrick Lamar to headline 2025 Super Bowl

Not Like Us rapper Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the halftime show in the Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.

“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one,” the 37-year-old rapper remarked.

Jay-Z, who represented Super Bowl’s co-executive producer Roc Nation, dubbed him a “once-in-a-generation artist and performer.”

“His deep love for hip-hop and culture informs his artistic vision. He has an unparalleled ability to define and influence culture globally. Kendrick’s work transcends music, and his impact will be felt for years to come,” Jay-Z declared.

Seth Dudowsky, NFL’s Head of Music, also recognized Kendrick’s cultural impact.

“Few artists have impacted music and culture as profoundly as Kendrick Lamar,” Dudowsky noted. “Time and time again, Kendrick has proven his unique ability to craft moments that resonate, redefine, and ultimately shake the very foundation of hip-hop.”

This will be Kendrick’s second time performing at the Super Bowl. In 2022, he shared the stage with other hip-hop legends like Dr. Dre, Eminem, and more.

Meanwhile, not everyone seems to be pleased with the news. Fabian Marasciullo, Lil Wayne’s mixing engineer, posted an Instagram story seemingly dissing Kendrick.

“Confused. Disappointed. Angry. But most of all inspired. Will never again be in a position of have the 🐐 in a position where we are at the mercy of someone else’s decision. We will make the decisions,” said Marasciullo.

Youtuber Nikocado Avocado shocks fans with 250-lb loss in a “social experiment”

YouTuber Nikocado Avocado, known for his mukbang videos, revealed his dramatic weight loss transformation in his new video titled “Two Steps Ahead.”

He started the video wearing a panda head and echoing a line that went viral on Tiktok: “Two steps ahead, I am always two steps ahead.”

“This has been the greatest social experiment of my entire life. It’s worrying, it’s compelling, it’s gripping to observe all these unwell, disoriented beings roam the Internet in search of stories, ideas, rivalries where they feel encouraged, engaged,” Nikocado narrated while still concealing his appearance.

He then removed the panda head, unveiling his new bald look and noticeably slimmer physique. “Today I woke up from a very long dream, and I also woke up having lost 250lbs off of my body,” he noted.

In a separate video uploaded on his second channel, Nikocado recounted how he pulled off the stunt. He explained that most of his eating videos were pre-recorded and that he has been secretly losing weight for the past two years.

His “Two Steps Ahead” video now boasts a whopping 26 million views on YouTube.
